Learn to Swim Float Suit
Learn to Swim Float Suits FAQs
A Float Suit is a swimsuit with integrated float bars that can be removed as your child gains confidence in the water. It provides enough buoyancy to support children as they learn swimming strokes and helps position them correctly in the water when learning to swim.
The suit includes a 16-piece adjustable buoyancy system that holds your
child in the correct swimming position (slightly tipped forward with
shoulders under the water), helping build swimming confidence gradually.
While both provide buoyancy, Floats Suits are learn to swim aids designed to assist with learning to swim by promoting a natural swimming position. In contrast, life jackets are intended to keep the wearer afloat with their head above water, regardless of swimming ability. It's important to note that Float Suits are not a substitute for life jackets and should always be used under adult supervision. Float Suits should not be used for boating or in the sea.
Float Suits help children maintain a natural swimming position, allowing them to move freely and comfortably as they learn. floaties provide buoyancy but can be bulky and restrictive. Unlike floaties, the floats within a Float Suit do not require inflation, eliminating the risk of punctures.
Our Floatsuits are designed for children aged 2-6 Years. A child must be able to hold their head up and support their own neck before using a Float Suit to keep the buyonacy in the water.
