Snippets – the eco-friendly swim toys every child needs!
We’re thrilled to introduce our bestselling pool toys, Snippets, to Australia! These irresistibly adorable toys aren’t just fun—they’re made from leftover materials that would otherwise end up in landfill.
These eco-friendly toys are suitable from birth, encouraging babies and young children to enjoy the water, and they’re as cute as can be.
During the production of our baby swimming products, there’s always some material that would typically end up on the cutting room floor. In our ongoing effort to be more environmentally friendly, we decided to make the most of these offcuts and repurpose them rather than sending them to landfill.
And so, Snippets were born: adorable sea creatures that can be tossed into swim bags for poolside fun, helping to save the planet without costing the earth!
Meet the Snippets
The Sardines
This cute and cheeky trio of fish is weighted to dive right to the bottom of the pool, encouraging little ones to dip their heads underwater. With the weight in the sardines’ heads, they mimic the natural dive of a fish, inspiring children to follow along.
We like to think they spark little imaginations too. Picture them in their natural habitat: mischievous pranksters who love hiding among plants and playing tricks on their seahorse friends. They’re also eco-warriors at heart, darting through seaweed and collecting discarded nappies to help keep the ocean clean.
The Seahorses
Close friends of the Sardines, the Seahorse siblings love combing the seabed, using their tails to scoop up debris and plastics, helping to keep the ocean clean.
Like the Sardines, the Seahorses are weighted to sink to the pool’s bottom, encouraging children to dive underwater. With the weight in their tails, they stay upright beneath the water, making it easy for little hands to reach and retrieve them.
The Starfish
The Starfish family are delightful, cheerful creatures sure to bring smiles to little faces. Bright and eye-catching, they float along the water’s surface, entertaining babies and young children with their happy expressions. Soft and cuddly, they’re perfect comforters for children who might need a bit more encouragement to get into the water.
Despite the saying that starfish have no brains, these little guys are the clever ones of the bunch! They love to educate their friends on everyone’s role in protecting the planet. As strong advocates for reusable nappies and sustainability, they’re always sharing tips on how to live greener, cleaner lives.
The Whale and the Stingray
The grown-ups of the group, these best friends glide along the water’s surface, keeping a watchful eye on the cheeky youngsters. Always relaxed, they bring a calming influence to both the young Snippets and little swimmers alike.
Sized perfectly for small hands to hold as comforters, they’re also lightweight enough to be tossed around in the pool for extra fun.
The Snippets are available for purchase as families. Choose from the divers; the Sardines, and the Seahorses (sold separately in packs of three), or opt for the floating toys: the Starfish triplets and the Whale and Stingray twin pack.
All are made from neoprene, which can be easily rinsed and squeezed before being left to dry for their next adventure.
